Three 8th grade students from Engadine Consolidated Schools were named local winners in the Farm Bureau Insurance 57th Annual America & Me Essay Contest. These students wrote their essays based on the topic "My Personal Michigan Hero." Congratulations to these students on their writing achievement.
This year's contest was sponsored by Agent Tracy Germain.
The America & Me Essay Contest was founded by Farm Bureau Insurance in 1968 and opened to all Michigan eight-grade students. Over three thousand eight grade students from nearly 200 Michigan schools submitted entries in this contest.
